Let’s BLOG!
It's up! That's right, sign-ups are READY! ::grins:: Soooo, let's have the run down, eh?

On the 6th of August, starting a 9 am EDT, I will be working with a group of three other women to post once every thirty minutes. We are blogging for the MISS foundation. It is a cause close to the heart of two of the group, and I figured it was a good cause. (;
Our group blog will be here - Blogathon.greekgoddessjen.com/">Three Moms and a Single Lady.

If you'd like to support us - you can head over to the Blogathon.org/">Blogathon main page. Just register and then look for our 'campaign'. It's under Jenny - but it says 'Three moms and a single lady/MISS Foundation'. Just look for that. We really appreciate your help. Honestly.

An Important Date!
That's right. Today is a very important date. July 18, 1982 . . .
Sis came into this world. Tiny, red, a screamer. Man. What a tiny personage she was. Course, I was four at the time, but - yeah. I couldn't imagine anything being that small.

Well. It's 2005 and she's now six feet tall. Yes, dear readers, Sis is six feet tall. And going to attend Graduate school in the fall. I'm so proud of her.

Happy Birthday, Sis. You done good.

Sunday Recap
So, I got together with Roomie yesterday. SlushieMan had to work, so it was just us. (Yes, some people work on Sundays. We *DO* live outside the Nation's Capital. *snort*) It was good for both of us.

We went out to lunch at a new place down where I live. It masquerades as an Irish pub on the outside, but it really isn't. I was disappointed. The food wasn't bad. I had a Ceasar Salad for lunch. Roomie had some house specialty salad that had cranberries in it. (Ew.)

After lunch, movie time. Woo. I haven't been to a movie in freakin' forever. Went to see "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". I was withholding judgement because I loved the original - but this one was fantastic. I should never doubt Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. Not to mention, it so didn't look like Johnny Depp at ALL. It was really creepy. You got an occasional glimpse of him, but overall - phew. Amazing. The movie was very well done. Very much worth my matinee price of $6.50. (*goes into old lady mode* I remember when the matinee price was $3 dollars . . . )

Overall - I think yesterday was exactly what the doctor ordered for both Roomie and for me. We had a good time and I want to do it again soon. Hopefully, SlushieMan won't have to work.

Got a Blogger/Blogspot blog?  WIN!
Muahahahahaha. Shameless Plug. Muahahahaha.
-----------------------------------------
If you have a blog on blogger, blogspot, blogdrive, you could win a blog design from one of our designers at Digitally Essential!
We’re giving away four free designs, two from each of our talented designers Jenny and Leslie, to the person who has the most creative haiku post about why they deserve to win. Be creative and funny. Make your post stand out.
Three judges will be reading and making the final decision as to who the winners are.

Contest Rules and Details:
The contest starts July 11th. Posts must be made no later than July 22nd. Contest closes at midnight on July 22, 2005. Once you create a post on your blog with your haiku, you must leave a comment on Jenny’s or on Leslie’s relevant post, to alert the judges of your entry. If you do not comment, you will not be considered for the final judgment.

The title of your entry needs to be “I’m going to win a blog design from Digitally Essential!” and you must include a link back to Digitally Essential at the end of your haiku (it does not need to be included in your
haiku, but a link in the post would be appropriate.)

If you have any questions regarding the contest rules, please email DE at .
