Yes, this has very much become a stream of conciousness blog. Whatever pops into my head. I save my theming for the Blogathon.greekgoddessjen.com/">group blog. Eventually, I will get to the prompts that the WeaselMaster sent. Just - not yet. (;
Okay. Yes. Cheese sticks. Those MARVELOUS creations of mozzerella and breading. With marinara sauce. Oh yeah. YEAH! ::purrs::
Yes. I'm hungry. Lemme alone. This is hard work. XD
Do *YOU* have a topic for me? DO you? (;
I do believe that every action has an impact and that eventually, you will feel that impact return to you. Doing something good will bring something good back to you - eventually. It make take days, months, years, lifetimes, but it does happen. The same thing applies to bad things that are done. Unfortunately, I find that some people's karma takes too long. ::chuckles::
I mean, think about it. You see the news and you go - oh, my god! And I think - where is that person's KARMA?! Man, now would be a good time for it to bite that person in the ass. Right? Eh? ::bleh::
And on a related note, there is a certain someone being a real pain in the arse to certain friends of mine right now. Let me just say - I REALLY want karma to come around on that person right now. I really do. ::sigh:: Course, I'm sure this means MY karma is screwed. Oh well.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory now plays on my television set. ::grins:: I love it to death. Gene Wilder was PHENOMENAL in this movie. And the little kid who plays Charlie - Peter Ostrum - turned down all movies offers after that movie and became a vetrinarian. Amazing. He just said - "One movie is good, thanks." Isn't that the COOLEST thing you've EVER heard out of Hollywood? (= He doesn't even talk about the movie. Except one day a year when he talks to CHILDREN about it. Kids in an elementary school in his hometown.
Now THAT is a movie star. Someone who knew what he wanted, even at 12! (=
Why can't we ALL be like that?

It was the same dream, night after night. Well, almost night after night. Some nights, she was spared from the dreams. But it was a rare night that it happened. Which made her dread going to bed at all. She often laid awake at nights, curled around John, just staring into the darkness. She knew she needed to let go, but it still bothered her.
That night at the plant. Watching everyone die. It killed her a little every night to watch it. No matter what she did - everyone still died. While no one was actually dead, the experience haunted her. She had done her best and it hadn't been good enough. Eric had been lost. Raven and her children had succumbed. Even John, fighting his hardest, had been overwhelmed. And her actions had meant nothing. Nothing at all.
She would pace, many nights, brooding over the events, trying to find some way to change things. She was trying to let go. At least, she thought she was. She tired. So very tired of it all. What else could she do? Sleep was necessary.
But then came the dreams - of watching those nearest to her die a horrible death . . .
Are they real? Is it possible?
I think there are many things in this world for which science cannot account. There is just - so much. Science does a good job, and yet, there are still some things for which it has no explanation.
Or am I wrong? Can science explain it all?
